Documentary Description;

War Made Easy reaches into the Orwellian memory hole to expose a 50-year pattern of government deception and media spin that has dragged the United States into one war after another from Vietnam to Iraq. Narrated by actor and activist Sean Penn, the film exhumes remarkable archival footage of official distortion and exaggeration from LBJ to George W. Bush, revealing in stunning detail how the American news media have uncritically disseminated the pro-war messages of successive presidential administrations.

This documentary shows how important Independent Media is and is needed. Just like everything “Free” in America, it is not what it seems. For instance; NAFTA (North America Free Trade Agreement) promotes free trade which means a company or group of individuals is free to trade with any country involved even if it means exploiting that nation. The United States has Free Press meaning it is free from government control and yes it is controlled by American citizen’s. However, these citizens who own our “Free Press” have no intention to ever be on the side of the American people, they are bureaucrats with business ties to mega-corporations who are going full force on maintaining a profit and increasing it any which way possible.

War is a business and America profits from it greatly no matter whose fighting it. This nation is the world’s greatest arms manufacturer and dealer. It all started over 17 decades ago with Samuel Colt’s revolver. This led the way to the creation of the War Industry. Granted, War has been around since what the bible considers the dawn of civilization but, the industry of it came around the time of civilization’s first Industrial Revolution. Cheap energy sources (Petroleum), 3rd World exploitation, and arms manufacturing gave way to America being the richest nation on Earth. America’s War riches was threatened after World War 2 when the U.S.S.R became a Superpower and was able to manufacture their own weapons to build up their economy. No longer could America be the leading supplier of weaponry to the world like they were between its’ Civil War and World War 1 when they were selling patents, ammunition, and weapons to nations across the world mainly through Remington.

After watching this, stop to think WHY it is so important for the media to show the masses a one-sided view of the issue on War and has been successful in convincing this nation and the world into going to War. There is too much at stake for Corporations to not be at War, think about it.

With that said I leave you with Immortal Technique’s track, “The 4th Branch” off Revolutionary Vol.2
